Because Jeremy was born, Becky became a mother.
Because he was ill, she became a nurse.
Because of bureaucracy, she became a defender.
Because Jeremy suffered, she joined in his pain
When Jeremy died, she stood at the cross.
And even in death, Becky still is his mother.
Because Jeremy lived, we all feel his presence.
Because he is gone, we have our own little saint.
The world is not the same because Jeremy lived.
